An Australian man has reportedly been charged with attempting to smuggle drugs into a Melbourne prison.
Police were called to reports of an unmanned aerial drone (UAR) being flown near to the Metropolitan Remand Centre in Ravenhill, Melbourne at around 17:00 local time (06:00 GMT), and quickly found a man and woman nearby as well as a small quantity of drugs according to 3AW Radio.
A 28-year-old man from Lalor, Victoria has been charged and bailed over the incident.
Authorities say no drugs were found inside the prison.
