Worst parallel parking ever? Still from YouTube video
A video of one person’s attempt at parallel parking in Belfast, northern Ireland has gone viral on YouTube with over a million views in the last five days.
Recorded by students Ciaran Doherty and Ciaran Shannon from their nearby house on a mobile phone, the video was shot after they already watched the hapless driver attempt to park their car for 15 minutes.
After forcing any cars coming along the road to reverse out and find other routes for half an hour, hitting the cars in front and behind numerous times, and finally with the help of another student – the driver managed to get their car into the parking space.
It’s the commentary and sheer disbelief of the students at the efforts of the driver which make the video, with a huge riotous cheer going up when the driver finally parked their car.
