A woman was terrified when she saw a 1.8m python slithering out of the toilet in her bathroom.

Noraslinda Asat, 34, felt a “sharp pain” in her right thigh, looked down and saw the python with its fangs deep into her flesh, according to AsiaOne.

She ripped the snake from her leg and ran out of the bathroom, shutting the snake in the bathroom behind her.

Asat was treated for the snake bite at hospital, but soon discharged.

Pest control were called to catch the animal, but the snake had disappeared when they arrived, most likely slithering away down the toilet whence it came.

Asat now says that she is scared to use either of the two toilets in her home in case the python returns, and has placed bricks on top of the toilet seats to keep it away.
