A skydiver and pilot are lucky to be alive after they collided just inches above the ground, causing the skydiver to be whipped around the air and the plane to crash into the ground in a nose-dive.
The dramatic incident, which ironically occurred on the US Parachute Association’s Skydiving Safety Day, was captured by photographer Tim Telford.
Both the pilot and skydiver were rushed to hospital, but miraculously were left relatively unscathed.
