An automated cannabis vending machine has been unveiled in Avon, Colorado, offering medicinal marijuana users an even easier way to buy their supply.
The vending machine, called the ZaZZZ, uses biometrics to verify a customer’s age, with the company behind the machine prepared to integrate medical cards as well.
The ZaZZZ is climate controlled to keep the product fresh, and store owners hope the “wow” factor will increase sales in licensed stores where it will serve a similar purpose to an automated check-out line at a supermarket.
