A teenager that found himself stuck in a high chair in a local pub has had to be rescued by firefighters.

The 19-year-old was trapped with his legs in the seat designed for infants at the The Stannary Court Wetherspoons pub in Plymouth.

Bouncers originally thought that it may have been a joke, with the trapped teenager still laughing about his situation, but he soon became frustrated and quietened down, and the fire brigade were called.

Firefighters reportedly used a saw to free the teen, who now faces a bill for damaging the pub’s property.
