Whoops. How would you read “susanalbumparty”?
Everyone’s (least) favourite singer Susan Boyle had an album launch party like any good pop star, but in what looks like either a very clever or naïve social marketing ploy, the people at @SusanBoyleHQ decided that people should use the hastag #SUSANALBUMPARTY to talk about the event.
Now, obviously those innocent minds running the campaign were hoping people read that as “Susan Album Party”, but twitter continuing its fine tradition of gutter, has meant that people have been reading it a lot more often as Su’s anal bum party” – which caused the #hashtag to trend. Well done twitter.
