A 1.2m dead shark has been found under a row of seats on the subway in New York City in the US.
The shark was discovered under a row of seats on a train headed to Queens, when the conductor asked passengers to leave the carriage before they could remove the carcass at the end of the line.
It remains a mystery how the shark ended up on the train, although some online have mentioned that it is currently “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel and SyFy recently released a film called Sharknado.
A number of pictures of the shark have gone viral, with New Yorkers posing the shark with a cigarette in its mouth and with a can of energy drink.
