Tom Fletcher of McFly’s wedding speech
McFly have been writing songs and hitting the charts since 2003, but lead singer Tom Fletcher’s latest song was a little different. He got married to his girlfriend Giovanna Falcone last May, but instead of making a speech at the occasion he decided to perform a song he’d written as he said:
“I don’t have any idea how to write a good speech but I do know how to write a song, so I hope this isn’t cheating my way out of it too much.”
Making a medley of the melodies from various McFly hits along the way, including Obviously and It’s All About You, Fletcher changed the words to thank the families, best men, brides maids, and most importantly about his new bride.
