A man who shocked staff at a Mississippi funeral home by waking up and kicking while trapped inside a body bag, has died just two weeks after the incident.
Walter Williams, 87, was pronounced dead by a coroner last month and his body taken to Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Mississippi to be prepared for his funeral, only for him to wake up.
Two weeks after this resurrection, Williams passed away at his home in Lexington at around 04:15 local time (09:15 GMT), according to Holmes County Coroner Dexter Howard.
Williams’ nephew Eddie Hester told WAPT:
“I think he’s gone this time…It was a two-week miracle for me, and I enjoyed every minute of it, and my family did too”
