A Lancashire secondary school has had to confiscate all copies of its 2013/2014 yearbook after a pupil was found to have exposed himself in the photograph.

The 16-year-old student from Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe reportedly got his manhood out during the leaver’s photograph, but his stunt was not noticed by teachers until the photograph had been printed and the yearbook handed out, according to Lancashire Telegraph.

The school had to recall the yearbooks and remove the page before handing them back to pupils.

The school has said that the boy has been banned from his prom as punishment and has apologised for his actions, but pupils have variously described the prank as “legendary” on social media and there is a petition from students and parents to get his punishment overturned.
