Earlier this month three Emiratis were forcibly removed from the Jenadrivah Heritage and Cultural Festivall in Saudi Arabia and sent back to the UAE after it was suggested that women might find them irresistible.
The internet has been spilling with speculation as to the identities of these men that were apparently so handsome that they could corrupt the “purity” of Saudi women with a single glance. Now feminist blog Jezebel claims to have discovered that one of the men was the photographer, actor, and poet from Dubai, Omar Borkan Al Gala.
He’s certainly a handsome man that has that “blue steel” pose down, but how often his mere appearance causes women to get naked and writhe in the street is perhaps debatable.
