An Arizona man was arrested last week after “trying to shoot the Moon” with his handgun.
Cameron Read, 39, was arrested on Friday evening after his girlfriend called the police when he aimed his firearm into the night sky and fired several shots into the air.
Prescott Valley Police charged Read on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct and endangerment, as well as criminal damage after he admitted to them that he had smoked marijuana and tried to “shoot the Moon”, according to AZ Family.
