Animal print clothing has been banned by Chessington World of Adventure to avoid possibly scaring of confusing the animals.
The change in the rules comes to avoid the possibility that big beasts such as lions do not confuse a zebra-print coat with a real zebra and believe it’s prey. Alternatively, if an animal sees someone wearing similar coloured clothing to their own fur, then they may become a little over friendly…
The list of banned clothing patterns include those resembling zebras, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, tigers, spotted hyenas, striped hyenas and African wild dogs.
