The body of a British tourist that went missing during a night out in the Dutch city of Leiden has been found in a canal.
Wayne Davies, 22,disappeared in the early hours of 19 April after leaving the HiFi nightclub in the city, with his mother involving authorities after he failed to make his return flight to the UK the next day.
Police believe that Davies accidentally fell into the city’s vast network of canals and waterways, and there is little to imply foul play as his bank card has not been used since his disappearance, according to the Guardian.
