A woman died on Thursday morning after her scarf became tangled on the escalator at the Fabre Metro underground station in Montreal, Canada.
The woman’s hair also became entangled in the elevator at the entrance of the station as she tried to free her scarf, and she was strangled to death.
The woman was in cardiac arrest by the time the emergency services arrived on the scene, according on Montreal Police, and passed away.
