The richest people in the UK’s music scene have been revealed in the Sunday Times Rich List, which is due to be published this weekend.
Ukrainian-born businessman Len Blavatnik, who acquired Warner Music Group in 2011, tops the list with an estimated fortune of £10 billion, although his wealth comes from a variety of investments in Russia, Europe, North and South America.
Sir Paul McCartney is the richest musician on the list, with his combined fortune with current wife Nancy Shevell at an estimated £710 million.
Chart-topper Adele tops the rich list for music under 30, with the 26-year-old having amassed an estimated £45 million in her short career so far.
