Younolovebunny

Hightailing out of Denmark in a swarm of careless and chaotic guitar blows is Younolovebunnythe moniker of one Claus Frolich and, if his back-story is to be believed, possibly the most hard-working and prolific song-writer of our generation. Growing up on a farm in the South of the country, Claus apparently wrote and recorded around 700 songs and 200 albums. 700 songs, 200 albums. 700, 200. Yep.

A few people heard his music; our friends over at FatCat included one of his tracks on their 2011 demo compilation and there has been some recent love from big-hitters over in the States. It’s easy to see why too as, despite the unkempt nature of the  backing-track, there is something both loveable and completely contagious about Ozonomio, the first cut from his January 2013 cassette-released EP Happy Nation II.

The wonderful Paris-based label Almost-Musique are putting out the cassette and, as a pre-cursor to the tapes release, they’ve put a handful of the tracks up on their soundcloud page  as a free digital EP. You can check out Ozonomio below; we recommend playing it really fucking loud and dancing around your bedroom like a complete idiot. But that’s just us…
