This round straw ‘Maize bag’ from Made by Wave is just what your mother needs to glam up a holiday outfit. Made by Wave takes a more sustainable approach to fashion by using traditional Indonesian craftsmen to create clothing and bags that modern travellers want. When we saw Instagram influencer Mother_of_Daughters raving about Rachel Jackson’s pieces, suddenly we couldn’t get enough of them either. We particularly love the birthstone necklaces. This little card is a bit of a no-brainer for us. If your mum is into art then it’s a brilliant idea. It gets you into hundreds of amazing art exhibitions for half the price. And you can check out museums, stately homes and castles with it too. Have you heard about Biscuiteers? They’re the company that have revolutionised the gifting market by making biscuits beautiful. We can’t take our eyes of their gorgeous ‘flower box’. Yes, they are expensive – £45, but we can guarantee that they look and taste amazing. These one’s have a delicate vanilla flavour, perfect for your mum to enjoy with a cup of tea.
The booze market has seemed a bit crowded of late, which can make it hard to decide what new spirit to try. Let us make it easier by recommending Silent Pool. Flowers from the local florist to liven up the house
Flowers are always welcome and whilst a number of flower delivery services have sprung up in recent years, if you want to give your mum a bright and beautiful bouquet, then the best option is to find her local florist and ask them to put together something for your budget. If you know your mum’s favourite flower then make sure to add some of them to the bouquet, but leaving the choice mostly up to the florist tends to get the best results.
