Powdered alcohol “Palcohol” is soon to hit the shops in the US and abroad after the the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) approved it for sale.
Palcohol is produced by Arizona company Lipsmark, and will come in six flavours: quadruple-distilled vodka, Puerto Rico rum, Cosmopolitan, Mojito, Margarita, and Lemon Drop.
Drinkers “just add water” to the powder to produce an “instant cocktail” from a single sachet.
Lipsmark are adamant to point out that the powder should be consumed in a “responsible and legal manner”, and they have added volume to the powder to try and prevent people from choosing to snort it.
