A man was asked to leave a Turkish television dating show after shocking the audience by admitting that he had murdered his first wife and another lover.

Sefer Calinak, 62, explained on the “Luck Of The Draw” TV show that he had been released under an amnesty programme after serving time in prison for his past crimes, and was now looking for a new wife.

Calinak said he murdered his first wife, a cousin named Fadime, because she had begun to ‘irritate’ him, and murdered a second woman with whom he was having an affair after she threatened to kill him, according to Turkish newspaper Millyet.

There was a round of applause by the studio audience after the host of the Flash TV programme asked him to leave.
