More than 60% of British people have experimented with some form of bondage, notably higher than any other European nation, a survey has found.
According to a study commissioned by the Official Fifty Shades of Grey Pleasure Collection, British couples were found to be twice as likely to engage in ‘sexual experimentation’ in comparison to couples in in Germany, France, and Spain.
The use of sex toys has also increased notably in recent years, with sales increasing by 300% over the last year, likely in response to the provocative E.L James novel.
As many as 70 percent of Britons confessed to tying each other up in the bedroom, and over two thirds said they had experimented with blindfolded sex at some point in their relationship.
The French led the field in relation to spankings, with over two thirds of French couples introducing spanking to the bedroom compared to 61 percent of Britons.
