Brazilian officials have persuaded Adidas to stop selling two Brazilian-themed raunchy T-shirts ahead of the upcoming World Cup over claims that they promoted sexual tourism.
One of the T-shirts discontinued shows a woman in a bikini with the words “Looking to score”, while the other makes a heart-shape from the buttocks of a woman wearing a thong for the slogan “I love Brazil”.
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff took to Twitter over the issue, where she said:
O Brasil está feliz em receber turistas q chegarão p/ Copa, mas também está pronto p/ combater o turismo sexual #CopaDasCopas

Brazil is happy to receive tourists for the World Cup, but it is also ready to combat sex tourism.
Adidas has said that the T-shirts were a limited edition that was only for sale in the US, but they would not be sold any more.
