The public has voted and chosen Nasa’s Technology Z-2 spacesuit to be the fashion for future space pioneers.
The futuristic-looking Technology Z-2 is designed with Luminex wire and light-emitting patches, and was chosen after a vote where the public could choose between three options for the Z-2 spacesuit.
The Technology Z-2 design won by a huge margin, with nearly 150,000 votes cast for the design, which made up around 63% of the total votes.
The Z-2 spacesuit is the successor to the Z-1, which was named one of Time’s Best Inventions of 2012, and a fully constructed suit is expected to be produced by November.
