We’ve said on numerous occasions here at TechFruit that coding should be a compulsory lesson in school, as the benefits it offers both in future job prospects and in simply interacting with this modern digital world outweigh a lot of what is currently taught.

To try and show people how important and empowering learning to code can be, the folks behind Code.org have got a bunch of technology and internet pioneers together including Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Jack Dorsey (Twitter), and got them to speak on camera about the subject. They also got everyone’s least favourite popstar Will.i.iam to talk, but we can just about overlook that for a good cause.
