In an elaborate hoax across various media, comedy group The Yes Men first put together a fake YouTube video purporting to show an oil rig-shaped drinks dispenser spilling liquid everywhere at a Shell press event, and then created a fake “meme-generator” for Shell’s Arctic oil exploration which has presented some amusing results from the wit of the internet.
