Jetpack pioneer Yves Rossy and his protégé Vince Reffet took to the skies over Dubai to demonstrate what they describe as “a new milestone in the chapter of human flight” and a fulfilment of the human dream to be truly free.

The jetmen’s aerial acrobatics at speeds of up to 120mph (193km/h) were filmed in glorious 4K from GoPros attached to the two men and on board a chase plane.

Watch the two men scream through the skies above Dubai’s famous Palm Islands and between the peaks of the skyscrapers above.
