Heated debates can make for good television, but things got a little out of hand when a fight broke out between two journalists “discussing” the ongoing conflict in Syria on a programme aired on the Jordanian Seven Stars satellite television channel.

Journalists Saker al-Johari and Mohammad al-Jayousi begin their discussion in a civil manner, but the men soon break into a shouting match as they accuse one another of taking sides and then start having a tug-of-war with a table top.

Finally, staff from the TV station broke up the fight and restrained the two men, to prevent them damaging more of the studio set.
