A video has emerged on YouTube showing an Australian man jumping from a boat on top of a passing tiger shark for a dare.

In the video, which was originally uploaded by YouTube user Blinky Bill, a man is heard on the boat goading his friend into the stunt, saying:

“Catch this tiger shark, Brett…You gonna jump on it? I dare you. It’s only a little tiger”

Brett then dismisses the shark as “only a man-eater” before leaping from the boat on top of the shark beneath.

As Brett hastily climbs out of the water, his friends on the boat can be heard laughing and joking that he had “missed it”.

It is unclear when or where the video was filmed, but it appears that neither Brett nor the shark were injured in the dangerous stunt, which one website has ‘triple-dog-dared’ Brett “NOT to do that ever again”.
