A terrifying close-up photograph of a great white shark baring its teeth has gone viral, with some commentators asking if it’s the “best shark picture ever”.
Primary school art teacher Amanda Brewer, 25, captured breathtaking moment two weeks ago in the waters off Mossel Bay, South Africa, while working as a volunteer for White Shark Africa – a charity which works with animal conservationists and eco-tourists.
Brewer took the photograph with a GoPro camera, and the image has become the camera manufacturer’s “photograph of the day” earlier in the week, and went on to be their “most popular POD ever”
