In a heart-wrenching moment of realism on television news, a newsreader anchor found out about the death of a friend while announcing it live on air.

Lee Chingyu, of Taiwan’s Next TV News, begins to choke up whilst delivering the news that her friend and colleague Erich Shih, 46, had committed suicide at his home on Thursday.

She just manages to maintain her composure throughout the news segment, but was visibly troubled the the devastating news.
