Park Street in Bristol was transformed earlier today into a giant water slide, with hundreds of people queueing up to hurtle down the slide on inflatable lilos.

The Park and Slide project was concocted by artists Luke Jerram and sanctioned by the council as part of their Making Sundays Special initiative and the Bristol Art Weekender.

360 people were lucky enough to win a chance to go on the ride from 96,573 entries, and sped down the slide made from hay bales, water, and washing up liquid.
