People distracted by their mobile phones is now the leading cause of death behind the wheel, and car manufacturer Volkswagen took to a cinema in Hong Kong to remind people to keep their eyes on the road.
The German carmaker used location-based broadcasting technology to text everyone at the cinema while they were watching what they thought was a advertisement for a new car driving along the open road before the film started. However, as they all went to check their phones, the car on the screen smashed into a tree giving them all a jolt, and reminding them not to get distracted by their phones while driving.
