As England fans prepared for tonight’s game against Uruguay in Sao Paulo, some were attacked by a gang of hooligans.
The masked Brazilian thugs are believed to have targeted England fans after they draped flags over the balconies of the bars surrounding the official FIFA Fan Fest area with a giant screen before the game, and throw bottles, fireworks, and other missiles at them from the ground below.
The hooligans fled the scene and attempted to board a bus but were chased down by Brazilian police. There was then a short confrontation as the men entered the bars, overturned tables, and smashed glasses, before the police gained control of the situation and arrested 15 people.
Weapons including blades, knuckle-dusters, and fireworks were also seized, according to the Telegraph.
No-one was injured in the attack.

Unfortunately that group of people has been around for a while in São Paulo and I was one of their victims. Those guys are not terrorists but they are upper middle class people, around 20 years old, wanting to have fun by beating other people for no reason. They target minorities like foreigners, gays, people of colour and tramps to name a few. I would say that they are neo nazis. It is really sad and I hope all of them get caught and sent to prison. http://www.saopaulocoolguide.com
