More than 150 people were safely evacuated from US Airways flight 1702, which blew out a tire before skidding with its nose along the runway after its landing gear collapsed at Philadelphia International Airport before taking off for Florida.
Two passengers were taken to hospital, one suffering a minor injury and another with a minor illness.
Passenger Hannah Udren, 18, captured the aftermath of the runway incident involving the Airbus A320, and tweeted the pictures, with the words “So my plane just crashed…”

Authorities are investigating the incident.
