Four dead bodies have been recovered from the Florida mansion of former US tennis star James Blake after a blaze.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Avila at 05:45 local time Wednesday morning, after reports of a fire at the home of former world number four.
Hillsborough County sheriff’s Col. Donna Lusczynski said that investigators believe that the fire was set intentionally, and the arsonist used an unknown accelerant, according to The Tampa Tribune.
Concerns about the structural integrity of the remains of the structure have hampered emergency teams looking to more thoroughly search the property in case any more bodies remain inside.
Authorities will not be able to positively identify the bodies until preliminary autopsies have been performed, but the local local media are reporting that police have not been able to contact Darrin and Kimberly Campbell and their two teenage children, who have been renting the property for the last two years.
Blake was at his property in Connecticut when the fire broke out.
