Ten people have been killed with many more feared trapped after the roof of an auditorium caved in under heavy snow in Gyeongju, South Korea on Monday night.

More than 560 people are believed to have been in the building for a concert when the ceiling collapsed under the weight of the snow piled up on the roof. The weather is also believed to have hampered rescue efforts.

10 people have been confirmed dead, including nine students and one concert organiser, 73 people have been injured, and a further 14 people remain unaccounted for according to reports.

South Korean President Park Geun-Hye has called for a full investigation into the building collapse.
