Investigators believe that it is most likely that flight MH370 broke up above or crashed into the Pacific or Indian ocean, but the search for the missing plane continues amid continued speculation.
Various sources are now reporting that the plane’s cockpit computer was reprogrammed to take the aircraft off its original course towards Beijing, either while the aircraft was on the tarmac or after take-off. Entering the flight plan change manually into the plane’s onboard computer, implies that whomever made the change had an understanding of the Boeing 777-200’s navigation system.
This theory has reopened speculation into the active involvement of the captain or first officer in flight MH370’s disappearance, but reliable information remains scarce.
As the speculation continues amid no new information on the whereabouts of the plane, the families of those on board are becoming increasingly frustrated with the way the investigation is being handled. Some family members are reportedly threatening to go on hunger strike unless they are told the “truth” about the missing plane.
