A Norwegian citizen suspected to have helped plan and carry out the terror attack in Nairobi’s Westgate mall as been named as Hassan Abdi Dhuhulow.
According BBC Newsnight, Dhuhulow is believed to have been one of the four al-Shabab militants that appear in CCTV videos of the attack which left 67 people dead, and a number a of people still unaccounted for.
Dhuhulow, 23, is a Norwegian citizen of Somali origin, who left Somalia in 1999 with his family for the town of Larvik in Norway.
Newsnight reports that the PST, Norway’s intelligence agency, has sent officers to Kenya to verify reports that a Norwegian citizen was involved in the Westgate attacks.
