Dramatic mobile phone footage of the moment that the al-Shabab militants began firing at people in the Westgate mall in Nairobi has emerged.
The video shows people in a supermarket at first confused about the sounds they are hearing before running to find cover as it becomes apparent they are gunshots. You then see people hiding behind shelves and closed doors calling emergency services and family members in terror.
