A drunk passenger attempting to enter the cockpit of a Virgin Australia flight between Brisbane and Bali has been arrested after causing a hijacking alert.
Despite an earlier story from Indonesia’s Metro TV stating that the aeroplane had been hijacked, there was no terrorist threat and the plane landed safely at Denpasar, in Bali, Indonesia.
No passengers were harmed in the incident, but the passengers actions did cause a “flight emergency”, according to Virgin Australia, which sparked fears of something more serious.
