Four international soldiers have been killed in two reported “insider attacks” in Afghanistan according to officials.
In the first attack, a man wearing Afghan Army uniform fired at ISAF soldiers, killing three, with the soldiers firing back in Paktika province, near to the border with Pakistan.
In the second attack in Farah province in the west of the country an Italian soldier was killed “during attack by an enemy of Afghanistan” on a Lynx vehicle as it returned to base according to the NATO-led international coalition forces. Three more soldiers were injured in the attack.
