Three women from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been attacked with a hammer by a man in a hotel room in central London.
A man, who is believed to be disturbed, entered the room shortly before 02:00 BST while the women and their children were sleeping, and then began to hit the women in the face with the hammer.
The attack happened on the seventh floor of the Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch
One woman remains in a critical condition in hospital, and Scotland Yard are treating the attack as attempted murder.
A hammer has been recovered from the scene.
