Three people have been arrested after a woman’s body was discovered in the grounds of a school in Shrewsbury.
The body of an unidentified woman, believed to be in her twenties, was discovered at Harlescott Primary School on Featherbed Lane, Shrewsbury, shortly before midnight on Sunday.
West Mercia Police said that they have arrested two men aged 32 and 39, and a 31-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.
The school will remain closed until Wednesday to allow the police to continue their forensic investigations.
The discovery comes two weeks after the body of another woman was found at a business premises on Featherbed Lanen 24th December, but the police have said that they are not currently linking the two incidents.
Policing patrols have been increased in the area to provide reassurance to local residents following these incidents.
