Police in Edinburgh are searching for a 3-year-old boy who went missing from his family home overnight.
Mikaeel Kular was last seen going to bed at around 9pm at his family’s flat in Ferry Gait Crescent in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening.
He was discovered missing when his mother went into his bedroom to check on him this morning, and the family could not find him anywhere in the property.
Mikaeel is described as 3ft (1m) tall, of Asian appearance, and possibly wearing a beige hooded jacket, blue jogging bottoms, brown shoes and nightwear.
Police are currently knocking on doors in the area looking for information, and a police helicopter.
The police are asking anyone who has seen Mikaeel last night or this morning, or with any information on his possible whereabouts to contact them immediately on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
