Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson was barred from boarding a flight from London to Los Angeles due to her confession of drug use during the trial of her former personal assistants.
An eyewitness told the Daily Mail that Lawson was turned away when attempting to board a British Airways flight from Heathrow to Los Angeles
After details of the chef’s cocaine use emerged during the trial of her former personal assistants, police reviewed the allegations but decided that no action would be taken.
However, as part of the US war on drugs, Washington reserves the right to deny entry to individuals with a history of drug taking, even if no criminal charges were brought.
