A fifth person has died as a result of the NekNomination drinking game, as the viral internet dare continues despite warnings from health officials.

Bradley Eames, 20, was found dead four days after he recorded a Facebook video of himself drinking two pints of gin, which he mixed with teabags. He complained of feeling sick after the first pint, but continued on to drink the second before giving thumbs up to the camera.

The police have said that they are aware of the NekNomination video, but they are awaiting the results of a post-mortem to reveal the cause of death.

If Eames death is found to be as a result of alcohol intoxication then he will be the fifth person in the UK and Ireland to have died as a result of the game.
