Aqab Hussain speeds towards his victims before knocking them to the ground
A man who drove his car directly at a group of friends in revenge for an earlier altercation has been found guilty after the incident was caught on CCTV.
Aqab Hussain, 21, is shown in the video (below) using his car as a “lethal weapon” in Manchester, trying to kill or mame his victims as he ploughed into them in his car at high speed as they crossed the street.
The original incident began as “horseplay” in a bar about a cap, but quickly escalated into an argument, and then a fight between the four victims and Hussain and some of his friends. After leaving the club, Hussain waited for the victims before driving at them at high speed.
One target managed to jump aside of the speeding car, one suffered minor injuries, another a broken leg, and the last sustaining catastrophic head injuries and was forced to remain in intensive care for three weeks.
Hussain was convicted on four counts of attempted murder at Manchester Crown Court
