An inquest has revealed that heroin is “likely” to have played a role in the death of Peaches Geldof.
The comments come after the results of a toxicology report showed that the drug was in her system when she died suddenly last month at the age of 25. The toxicology reports were ordered after an initial post-mortem examination failed to establish a cause of death.
Her body was found by her husband Tom Cohen at their home in Kent, and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
The young celebrity was the second daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, who died of a heroin overdose aged 41 in 2000, when she was just 11.
