The Mercury Music Prize are upon us again, with 13 records that the judges believe to be the cream of the crop for the year.

The Mercurys were created as an alternative to the pop-centric Brit Awards in 1992, and have seen some great records both winning and being overlooked each year. What do you think of 2013’s list? Is your favourite record on there? Has it all gone too mainstream?
